Actually, what I don’t want is that we need to have this conversation.

School shootings are a failure of our children by the institutions they need. Government fails to find a solution. Schools fail to provide a safe response plan. Our society fails to look the problem in the eye, instead choosing to use each incident as an excuse to attack the other side of the political ailse.

We can’t fail them.

So I spoke to the top experts I could find about this issue, figured out what’s being done, and what’s not being done, and how we can help our children be safer if they find themselves in this worst of all possible days.
